I really love the differing colours in this one. The background is all the same type of enamel, it's just what happens when you put them in at different temps. The flowers are millefiore, they're small beads which you melt in the kiln and they spread out to become beautiful patterns! They're also laquered to make sure they don't turn the wearer green!
Materials Used:
Blue enamels, millefiore beads, earring hooks, jump rings, bronze sheet metal
They're for sale too by the way [link] -edit- I just put it up on etsy and it sold within two seconds. WOW. i love enamelling! so sadly it's no longer for sale. however, if you want me to make another one like it, let me know!
you're making me blush! Thanks so much. I have to say, i'm very proud of this one. I'm so tempted to keep it for myself but it's already been sold! I adore enamelling. My teachers have actually been telling me not to be hogging the kiln!
