Artist's Comments

Part of a set, this matches the enamel earrings.

Materials used:
Blue, green and yellow enamelling resin, water, black star beads, copper sheet, silver plated wire and silver fastener.

I think this one deserves a "How I Made This", so:

How I Made This:

I cut out the basic shapes out of the copper sheet, drilled a hole in them, hammered them into place and cleaned the copper. I then dusted the bigger flower with the green enamel, fired it until the enamel melted, waited till it cooled and then did it again with the blue and the yellow, mixing the yellow with water first to make it easier. I did the same with the two smaller ones, fitted them all together and voila! :P

I'd love to learn how to enamel. Do you use materials at your school or do you do this at home?
