Damn you life! Damn you to hell!

It has been SO hectic around these parts recently. In short:

1. I finished college, and had to set up my exhibition which took AGES. Twas worth it though, cause the opening night was one of the best nights i've ever had.

2. I started working in Penneys, and i've been basically going to work, coming home and going to sleep. I've had no time to do anything! ANYTHING! I haven't been home in fricking weeks! An as for jewellery making..... yeah..... I've made NOTHING in the past few weeks. I do have a couple of new deviations to put up, as soon as i get my stuff back from college I'll be able to photograph them.
Plus, the job kinda sucks. actually, no, not kinda. It REALLY sucks. the people are obnoxious and the work is monotonous and pointless... (but at least my co workers are cool.) Yaay for my job!

3.I moved out of my old place, and i'm moving into a new one as soon as i get back from number four below Which kinda sucks, because i won't be living with Simon (my best friend) any more, i've been living with him for the past two years and now i don't know anybody who i'm gonna be living with... but hey, it's a new experience. I hope my new housemates are nice.

4. I went on my first transatlantic flight to New York! I love it, but i wouldn't want to live here. It's nice to do the touristy thing, but apart from that i don't think i'd enjoy it. Except if i were able to live near the chrysler building. I have such a crush on that building and i don't know why. It just makes me smile every time i see it. It's so beautifully designed, and i love the story behind it.
oh! and i finally got to go into one of those crazy bead shops in America, the ones where there's beads everywhere.... The bead shops in Ireland are kinda few and far between, but the bead shops in New York that i went into... Wow. I was in bead heaven. As soon as i get all my stuff together I'll make a few bits and pieces and post them up here! God only knows when that'll be.... *sigh*

So That's bacically what's been happenning. To my watchers (those of you that there are.... ) I'm sorry there's been no new pieces but there will be soon, i promise. How soon, i'm not sure, but fingers crossed!

After killing numerous trees and sending out tons of CVs, i finally got a job! It's at Penneys, which is also known as Primark in the UK, but i'm not sure if you have it in America. Its bascially really nice clothes at really low prices, so i'm happy to be working there! they also sell jewellery there, so it'll be interesting to see the trends etc. I'm delighted tho, I was beginning to think i'd never get a job!
Slightly afraid that my jewellery making will suffer, but sure we'll see. I won't be able to sell my jewellery at the church sales any more, but i was kinda only doing that for monetary purposes and i won't have any enamelling facilities for the summer, which sucks ASS. *shrugs* I start Monday!

As soon as i have my assesments done, and i get my pieces back after the exhibition (there's gonna be a big opening night party next friday and i can't fricking WAIT ), i'll photograph them and put them up. HOPEFULLY. there's not enough hours in the day at the moment!

tired, tired, tired. I finished college yesterday. I'm no longer a student! not quite sure how to feel about that really. hmmmm....

Holy crap!! it's been like a month since I've updated this! i've been reeeeeally really busy. I have so many new pieces to upload as well.... just have to get them photographed... gah, so much to do, so little time!

There's just four weeks to go before we finish college.... it sucks ass! especially since i've so much left to do.... and cause i'll miss everybody so much! but I have a sale coming up so that should keep me occupied.... The last one went really well, apart from some of the other sellers treating me like a baby just because i look young.. I'm 20 for fricks sake! and i have quite a lot of experience in selling, so when people don't listen to me because they think they know more than me, it really irritates me! I'm doing this coming one on my own though, so i'll be enlisting my buddies to keep me company! If anybody's in the Cork area over the weekend, I'm selling at the Unitarian Church in Princes Street from 9. Come visit!

I'll try and get some deviations up soon. I also have quite a lot of heart themed ones so i'll be submitting some of them to The-Heart.

Yawn.... So much to do....

Oh! I recently started playing WoW (world of warcraft for those not in the know.... ) Sheesh, it's addictive.... I love it though. so much fun!

Think that's it! I'm off to research flapper fashion. Damn you Art History!

Right, so that's the first few of my enamelling pieces up. I have a couple more but i have to wait till I get back to Cork to get them photographed (*ahem* probably should tell the photographer about that! ) I'm really happy about these new ones. And just as I'm getting into my creative stride, they give us a bloody midterm. TWO WEEKS of not being able to make stuff (well, from metal anyway, my bead work will continue as normal ) It's so irritating.I'm absolutely itching to do more but i can't!

Next weekend should keep me busy though... A couple of people in my course are clubbing together and going to a craft fair in Killarney for the Easter weekend. So, (i'm not sure how much good this will do as i think most of my watchers are from America... ) if you're in the Killarney area next weekend stop into the Killarney Outlet Centre and say hi. I can't wait to start selling again... as well as the money, which is always good, i love the thrill of selling, and the rush when somebody really likes your stuff! Hopefully we'll sell a few things anyway.

Emmm... I think that's about it. My turle is flourishing, it's the cutest little thing, still haven't thought of any names though. any ideas?
Gary Busey is alive and well, as is his name sake He's been joined by 10/11 little neon tetras although i think it's gone down to about eight or nine by now... we suspect that the turtle has been having a little in between meals snack! it's ok though, we kinda knew that was gonna happen.

*stretches* best get to bed. I've got a busy couple of days ahead of me, making bags and labels and thinking about how to lay out my stall.... oh, i love it, i love it!
